Pet microchipping clinic

There will be a community-wide microchipping clinic for your pets on the way. The Public Safety Division’s Animal Control Services saying that a veterinarian and veterinary technician will be on-site to perform the service for pet owners. The pet owner’s contact information will be stored on the microchip, that stands at about the size of a grain of rice. The chip will be inserted under the animal’s skin between it’s shoulder blades. This is a standard procedure for veterinarians, animal shelters, and Animal Control Officers to check for these microchips.

The clinic is scheduled for Saturday, October 26th, from 1 until 5pm at the Animal Control Office located near the Peacekeeper station on the Old Malone Highway.
