Soil Removal Begins At Recreation Bay

Kahnawà:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) says that the removal of soil with asbestos-containing material from the Kateri Tekakwitha Island Recreation Bay Project site will began today.
The material removal will last for approximately one week, and will take place between 7am and 2pm.
The work will be supervised by a KEPO staff member as well as the contractor on the project.
