The Royal Canadian Air Force announcing on twitter yesterday that several CH-146 Griffon helicopters will conduct a flyby of the memorial service for Montreal firefighter Pierre Lacroix at approximately 11:45 a.m. Friday. Lacroix died when the rescue boat he was ridding in capsized in the Lachine Rapids more than a week ago.

After a brief stint ‘on the injured list’, the Minimax Recycling Collection Truck is back on the road following repairs to a cracked radiator. The Waste Management Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke apologizing for the inconvenience, thanking the community for patiently awaiting the completion of the repairs.

There were nine active cases of COVID-19 in Kahnawake as of 5 pm on Monday according to the latest from the Public Health team. 20 people are in isolation because of close contact. There have been 144 cases in the fourth wave.
