Three Candidates Come Forward For MCK By-Election

Three candidates put their names forward on Saturday morning for the by-election for one vacant seat at the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake (MCK). According to Electoral Officer Angus Montour, the list remains unofficial for now until their credentials can be verified. The candidates are Stephen McComber, David A. Diabo and Wahiio Delisle. They will join us on the Tetewatha:ren Partyline Talk Show on Thursday. For all Nominees, the deadline to declare or decline their nomination is Tuesday at 12 noon. Candidate’s night is this Thursday at 6 pm at the Knights of Columbus.
