The Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre (KMHC) says that the COVID-19 Testing Site is not able to take any more appointments today. The site added a second group of testers, but are still at capacity after booking 100 appointments for today. In a news release the KMHC is asking community members not to leave a message as they are unable to get back to everyone.
Anyone else who may need test for COVID-19, can consult the Quebec.ca site to try to book a PCR test at another testing site.
If you have received a positive result using a rapid test:
You must isolate for ten (10) days
All household members must also isolate for ten (10) days.
You must advise your contacts that they should also isolate for ten (10) days if you were not wearing masks during your contact
Rapid test kits are being distributed, by drive through, at the Sports Complex parking lot until 5 pm Wednesday and again from 9am to 5 pm on Thursday.
