COVID-19 booster vaccines will be made available to specific Kahnawa’kehró:non who meet the criteria. It is recommended that a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine be given to anyone aged 12 years and older who is considered immunocompromised or who is currently undergoing dialysis treatment. This third dose is intended to increase the immune response, and the level of vaccine protection, in people who are particularly vulnerable to infection with COVID-19.
Third doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are now available through the KMHC. Pfizer BioNTech or Moderna vaccines will be administered to all those who are eligible. If you are uncertain of your eligibility, check with your Family Doctor or a nurse at KMHC
