Vaccination not necessary to access services: KMHC
Written by Paul Graif on 2 September 2021
The Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre (KMHC) says it wants to correct misinformation that has made its way through the community.
In a statement, it says KMHC has and will continue to accept clients, regardless of vaccination status, meaning community members do not need to be vaccinated to access services at KMHC.
It does ask clients experiencing COVID 19 symptoms to call KMHC first at 450-638-3930 and not enter the hospital building.
It goes on to say that any visitors to the Inpatient Care side of KMHC only, who have traveled, must be fully vaccinated in order to visit during the 14-day period immediately after returning; others who are not vaccinated must follow the safety protocols in place, and isolate for 14 days from the date of return and therefore will not be granted entry into KMHC for visitation until their isolation period is over.
