PKs Bust Up Suspected Drug Trafficking Operation

26 year old Liam Delisle-Birchenough and 30 year old Tamara McComber, both of Kahnawake, appeared before a judge on Friday and were formally charged with two counts each of possession for the purposes of trafficking a substance in schedule I, and one count each of possession for the purposes of trafficking a substance in schedule III. The Kahnawake Peacekeepers simultaneously executed a search Warrant at a residence on Blind Lady’s Hill and two motor vehicles at around 5 pm. One vehicle was intercepted while traveling on Rte 207 near Cemetery Road at the time. Multiple types of suspected narcotics, prohibited devices and cash were seized. A 62-year-old male was released on a promise to appear. He faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and trafficking in a substance. (Updated Friday, October 2, 2020 6:13 pm)
