AMBER Alert: Update, Found Safe

An Amber Alert that was issued early Tuesday morning for a five-year-old boy in Quebec is over after he was found in Ontario. According to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the boy was found safe and sound. Quebec provincial police add two people were arrested in York, near Toronto.

The Amber alert rang in around 3:40 this morning, with Quebec Provincial Police asking for the public’s help in finding the missing 5-year-old child, Getty Shi Gao,  who disappeared from the Brossard area. Police were seeking 65-year-old Ruixue Yang in connection with the abduction.
