Sports and Recreation Summit

The first sports and recreation summit will be held this evening in Kahnawake. They are asking community members to share their opinions on what they want to see in terms of sports programming for the Youth Center and through the Sports and recreation Unit. It’s Director is Roiatate Horn:

“You don’t have to be here for the whole time. Stop in for a half-hour, participate in some of the activities. We’re gathering information that will be used for our 10-year recreation masterplan. It’s basically going to guide the community in terms of what we want to do for the next 10 years and we’re looking forward to getting the community’s input.”

The summit is on tonight (Thursday), at the Knights of Columbus from 5-9 pm.
