R-207 warning lights installed

New measures are coming to Route 207 in Kahnawake in an effort to make the road safer. As first reported by Ioriwase, yellow warning flashing lights will be installed at two intersections at Peter Fox’s road and Zachary road. David Lahache is the Transport Coordinator at the MCK, saying that are nearly 10,000 vehicles a day travelling on the road and that Arnold Boyer, the Ratsisahiens on the Transportation file, had requested that the MTQ conduct a safety study of the roadway.

The yellow warning flashing lights will be following a study that was conducted by the Transport Ministry this summer.
