KJC community representative appointed

Don Patrick Martin has been appointed as a community representative on the Kahnawà:ke Justice Commission (Commission). The appointment announced by The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) was passed by consensus and formalized at this past Monday’s Council Meeting. Martin’s appointment is for a three-year term ending Thursday, September 23rd, 2027. The Commission is mandated to provide oversight to Justice Services by monitoring its activities in matters concerning the administration of the Kahnawà:ke Justice System and to ensure that the integrity of the Kahnawà:ke Justice System is protected and defended.
