At the Tioweró:ton Territory, following the re-opening 2 weeks ago of The Doncaster River as safe to swim again, test levels yesterday revealing that it is once again safe to swim at the Falls area. Lloyd Phillips is the Commissioner of Public safety:

“At this point there are no areas that are closed for swimming, so people can rest assured that the areas are safe and on-going monitoring will be done over the next few weeks and for the rest of the summer. All the common areas where people swim are all ‘good-to-go,’ that’s from the test results done on Monday as it takes a couple  of days to get the results. All areas passed and then we’ll be doing more testing in 2 weeks.”
