MCK Elections: Saturday 9am-6pm

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke Elections are on tomorrow, Saturday, between 9am and 6pm at the Karonhianónhnha School gymnasium. Electoral Officer Angus Montour says you must mark your Ballots with an “X”. And an “X” can be placed for one of the 3 candidates who is running for Grand Chief, listed in alphabetical order: Gina Deer, Cody Diabo, and Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer. There are 18 candidates vying for the 11 positions of council Chief, including 6 incumbents. By the end of the night tomorrow there will be at least 5 new faces at the MCK table.
