Grand Debate and Meet the Candidates Night – June 24th, 25th

Meet the Candidates Night is booked for this coming Tuesday, June 25^th, at the Knights of Columbus Hall from 6pm to 11pm.  According to The Office of the Electoral Officer all candidates will have five (5) minutes to speak to the community, and this will be followed by a question-and-answer period after candidates present their platforms. The speeches of Meet the Candidates Night will be the only portion recorded and posted publicly for viewing. The 2024 Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke Elections itself will be held on Saturday, July 6^th, at the Karonhianónhnha Tsi Ionterihwaienstáhkhwa School gymnasium. A reminder that on Monday, June 24th, the Grand Debate is coming to K1037 (and k1037.com) following the 6pm newscast with candidates Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer, Cody Diabo and Gina Deer. Paul Graif will moderate the Grand Debate, that is being brought to in collaboration with Ioriwase and the Eastern Door.
