The Iroquois Caucus is in Kahnawà:ke

The Iroquois Caucus will meet in Kahnawà:ke today and again tomorrow, Thursday. Today’s events will be a relationship-building meeting with representatives of the Blackfoot Confederacy, while Thursday’s General Assembly agenda will include: A presentation on the Canada Pension Plan; discussions on the Great Lakes Adaption Management; an update on the Harvesting Summit; and updates on the Jay Treaty Border Alliance.
The Iroquois Caucus was created in 2007 and consists of elected Councils from Kahnawà:ke, Akwesasne, Kanehsatà:ke, Tyendinaga, Wahta, Six Nations, and the Oneida Nation of the Thames.
