Kahnawake Animal Control Law Feedback

The Feedback Report for the Kahnawà:ke Animal Control Law (The Law) amendments is now available for viewing. The feedback was compiled during the 30-day review from July 6^th to August 4^th by The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Commission. The Law was enacted on September 17^th, 1964, to regulate loose dogs to protect the health and safety of the community. Currently, the purpose of the amendments is to allow greater enforceability of the Law and to enhance and adapt the Law to reflect the current needs of the community.

The community will be informed when the Community Decision Making Review Process Hearing date has been set.
