KFB Giveaway June 7th

The Kahnawake Fire Brigade (KFB) will be holding a Giveaway Event on Wednesday, June 7^th, from 9am to 3pm or while supplies last. These supplies can actually help save your life! KFB members will be located on the lawn in front of the Fire Hall on Old Malone Highway providing free Fire Extinguishers, Smoke Alarms, and Carbon Monoxide Detectors to Kahnawa’kehró:non, 1 item per household. The KFB advises residents to install smoke alarms on every level of the home, inside bedrooms, and outside sleeping areas, and test them every month. If they’re not working, change the batteries. Also, it is recommended that you talk with all family members about a fire escape plan and practice the plan twice a year.
