Car Slams Into Train After Police Chase in Kahnawake

There was an incident on Highway 132 in Kahnawake last night just before 11 pm. It began when a car made a U-Turn in front of Magic Palace, a Peacekeeper (PK) gave chase. The 21 year old non local male driver refused to stop and ended up slamming into a train at the boundary. However, the PKs say the train was crawling along at that point. The male driver was not injured. He was arrested and remains in custody. He is expected to appear in court today. He is facing charges of flight, obstruction, dangerous operation of a vehicle and failure to stop at an accident.
