Driver Dies Following Serious Accident at JFK Quarry in Kahnawake

Tragedy following an accident at the JFK Quarry Wednesday morning. A call came in at 8:47 am to the Kahnawake Peacekeepers, routed from 9-1-1, as an articulated dump truck had driven off an inclined path and fallen into the quarry. According to the PKs the driver, a 39-year-old non-local male, was killed in the crash. A Sûreté du Québec accident reconstruction team was called to the scene to assist in the investigation.
