Hiio Kirby To Return to K1037 as Morning Show Host

You can go home again. K1037 is proud to announce the return to the airwaves of one of the key voices that helped the radio station in its early days. After two decades away Hiio Kirby returns as host of a brand new morning show. Kirby will be joined by trusty newsman Paul Graif in the mornings beginning on Monday, November 28 at 6 am.
Kirby promises to bring his fun and irreverent style back to the station he loves.
“I love radio. I really missed it,” Kirby said. “I jumped at this opportunity and am really excited to come back.”
Program Director Chris Reiser is “Thrilled to have Hiio back in the fold. I am looking forward to what he will bring to the station,” Reiser said.
As for Kirby, with 20 years away from the microphone he doesn’t expect it will take too long to shake the rust free.
“I’m just going to go in there and just bring it along to the new year and we’ll take it from there. But yeah, I’m just hoping to have a couple of laughs. I might be able to upset some people along the way. But I might end up in the Principal’s office for that one.”
