SQ Operation on Water Snarls Mercier Bridge Commute

The Surete du Quebec (SQ) has told K1037 News that they were on the scene at the Montreal end of the Mercier Bridge Tuesday morning. They could not specify why. However, they did say that they conducted a search in the water near LaSalle. The SQ was on scene between 2:45 am and left just before 8 am.
The Kahnawake Peacekeepers say the SQ found an abandoned vehicle on the Montreal bound side of the bridge. They called the PKs at03:46 am. The vehicle belongs to a non local 29 year old female. The investigation continues.
