More COVID-19 Testing Kits Being Ordered for Kahnawake

The two pharmacies in Kahnawake will once again be receiving some of the COVID-19 testing kits. However, an employee at the Old Malone Pharmacy says they are supposed to be getting more. However, they are unsure of the quantity or even when they will be delivered. They received approximately 100 kits in December but they were distributed very quickly. At the Kateri Memorial Hospital Center (KMHC) pharmacy, they say they received 108 kits in December and they were distributed quickly. They are expecting more at some point this week. They have set up a reserve list in order to distribute them. Public Safety saying on Kahnawake 911 last week that they are also trying to procure more testing kits. They are not sure when they may arrive.
Vaccinations continuing at the Bingo Hall on the 138 today until 5:00 pm. They are accepting walk-ins for Kahnawake residents until 4:30 pm. Vaccinations are scheduled from 9 am to 5 pm in Kahnawake. You can book online through the Kahnawake911 website or that of the KMHC.
