KEC Says Investigation Into Serious Abuse Allegations Has Been Completed

The Kahnawake Education Center (KEC) says it has completed an investigation into serious allegations made against one of its employees. In a statement the KEC says the allegations were brought forward in August. The KEC says it took immediate action and launched an independent investigation. “The independent investigation has been completed and the findings have been shared with those directly concerned. This highly sensitive matter is a Human Resources issue; therefore, we cannot disclose any information concerning the names or status of affected employees.”  Further on in the release the KEC posted links to mental health support for those who may have been affected. They have said they will not have any further comment.
