Work Under Mercier to Close Small Local Road and Disrupt Hydro
Written by Paul Graif on 29 November 2021
Work to remove platforms and equipment from under the Mercier Bridge will require a temporary disruption to Hydro service for nearby residents. The work is scheduled today (Monday) and it will impact Hydro customers in the area of the CP Rail Tunnel and the road adjacent to the Kanawaki Golf Course, between 8:30am and 12pm.
This temporary Hydro service interruption is required for reasons of safety, as crews from the Mohawk Bridge Consortium (MBC) remove suspended platforms and equipment. The road by JoJos between Highway 132 and the Highway 138 service road will close around 12pm and last until Wednesday.
