There were protests in Kahnawake on the 132 and 138 heading towards the Mercier Bridge today. Starting at noon and lasting until approximately 1pm, the rolling protests were in response to the raid by the RCMP on a checkpoint on traditional Wet’suewet’en land last Friday.
Both The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke and People of the Longhouse strongly condemned the RCMP raid.
