There are nine active cases of COVID-19 in Kahnawake as of Wednesday morning. Four of those are new since last week according to the Public Health team at the Kateri Memorial Hospital Center (KMHC).
Meanwhile, despite repeated claims that he would not budge on the October 15th deadline, Quebec Health Minister Christian Dube announced that he is extending the period for health-care workers to get fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The new deadline has been moved from this coming Friday to November 15th.
