6 Active Cases of COVID-19 in Kahnawake

Active cases of COVID-19 in Kahnawà:ke stands at six as of late Tuesday. However, that includes two new cases. There have been 122 positives since the beginning of the fourth wave according to The Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre’s Public Health team.
Indigenous Services Canada’s latest numbers are 1,854 active cases of COVID-19 on territory. 428 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic. The COVID-19 case fatality rate among First Nations people living on a territory is 59% of the case fatality rate in the general Canadian population.
