IDS Settlement Project Assistance: On Today

The MCK Indian Day Schools (IDS) Settlement Project Coordinator has invited the Federal Indian Day School Community Support Program to Kahnawà:ke this to assist and provide additional support. That assistance includes “Federal Indian Day School Community Support with a trauma-informed approach to delivering free, one-on-one help” in terms of filling out or checking the status of IDS Claim Form(s).

The IDS sessions will be held at the Mohawk Legion Branch 219 this coming Monday, July 26th and again on Tuesday, July 27th, with appointments available on Monday between 10am to 7pm and then Tuesday, from 9am to 4:30pm. There are still some spots available. New sessions have been added and will take also take place today until 4:30pm and tomorrow Saturday, July 24th, from 10am to 4pm theses sessions at the Golden Age Club. With walk0ins welcome, you can choose to call the IDS Settlement Project Coordinator Louise Mayo directly at 514-793-0662. The deadline to apply for the IDS Settlement is on July 13, 2022. A Sacred Fire will be set up from Monday, July 26, 21 at 6am, and will continue for the duration of the two days.
