As family and friends pass out posters with a photo of Adria Gloade, they are hopeful that she may be in Kahnawake. The 37 year old Indigenous woman has not been heard from since Tuesday, July 13th in her hometown of Millbrook First Nation in Nova Scotia.
“Millbrook RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance to locate 37 year old Adria Gloade,” said Corporal Lisa Croteau, a Public Relations Officer with the Millbrook RCMP. “She was last spoken to July 13th here in Nova Scotia. We’re just concerned for her safety and hoping that if someone has had contact with her to let her know to either contact the RCMP or her family. To let us know so we can reach out to make sure that she is okay.”
The Kahnawake Peacekeepers say they have not been contacted about the case.
