Trucks Banned as 138 Up Ramp to Montreal Closes for 12 Days

There is a major work blitz that will affect access to the Mercier Bridge for nearly two weeks. The 12 day schedule will see the complete closure of the Highway 138 up ramp towards Montreal from Saturday, July 17 at 10 p.m., until Thursday, July 29, 10 p.m. There will be a repaving of the ramp and some electrical work performed as well. Trucks will not be permitted to cross the Mercier at all towards Montreal during the blitz. Trucks trying to access the 138 east will be detoured via Autoroute 30. However, trucks will be permitted to head towards Kahnawake from the Montreal direction during this time.
