Mercier Bridge One Lane in Each Direction This Weekend

Work on the steel structure will have the Mercier Bridge reduced to one lane in each direction this weekend. The closure will begin at 10 pm on Friday April 23rd. The bridge will be back in its regular configuration on Monday April 26th at 5 am. Since the southbound, or Kahnawake bound, span will be completely closed, the access ramp from Airlie Street will also be off limits. Quebec’s Transport Ministry says the work could be cancelled due to inclement weather or operational constraints.
