Kahnawake’s McComber Selected in Senior A Western Lacrosse Draft

The Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) held its Senior “A” Draft Thursday night. Selecting in the third round the Nanaimo Timbermen chose Teioshontathe McComber with the 5th pick of the round. McComber plays at the University of Albany. “He’s a natural talent from the east and a great player,” said Timbermen Head Coach Dave Bremner. “All players are excited to come and play for us this year.”
In 2019, McComber had two goals and one assist in seven games with the Great Danes. He also has 22 goals and 28 assists in the Ontario Junior B Box league with the Kahnawake Hunters in 2019. McComber has experience playing out west, having starred with the Victoria Shamrocks of the Junior A Lacrosse league.
