Mercier Bridge Reopening Delayed One Day
Written by Paul Graif on 10 August 2020
Workers from the Mohawk Bridge Consortium (MBC) wrapped up their work on the Montreal bound span of the Mercier Bridge on Sunday, August 9th. However, according to Sterling Deer, a co-owner of MBC, the Ministere de Transport du Quebec (MTQ) has decided to replace some of the light posts during the day today (Monday). The opening of the bridge has been pushed back to tonight, according to Deer. Weekend closures are still scheduled through the fall.
