KFB Says Serious Medical Cases Will Still be Transported to Anna Laberge

The Kahnawake Fire Brigade (KFB) says they will continue to transport the more serious medical cases to Anna Laberge’s Emergency Room unless otherwise directed. The Anna Laberge Hospital in Chateauguay is asking people to stay away unless absolutely necessary. It is faced with an overcrowded ER. It is currently operating at 156% capacity. A portion of the hospital is also a COVID-19 treatment centre. The Monteregie West Health Authority is asking people to call 8-1-1 if they are not feeling well.
