Two males from Kahnawake were transported to the Montreal General Hospital following a serious accident involving a Kahnawake School Bus and a four-wheeler on Highway 138 west towards the Mercier Bridge in Kahnawake at 7:23 Wednesday morning.
The school bus collided with the 4-wheeler just after the wood pile. According to The Kahnawake Peacekeepers, the two people aboard the 4-wheeler were attempting to cross the highway from the north to the south side when they hit the drivers side of the bus in the bus lane. They were not wearing helmets at the time and were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The school bus was transporting students to Montreal at the time of the accident. There were no injuries on the bus and all students and the bus driver are safe.
