Vandalism at Catholic Church in Kahnawake

Two incidents of vandalism last night (Tuesday) at the St Francis Xavier Mission Church in Kahnawake. At 10:08 pm Kahnawake Peacekeepers (PKs) received a report that windows were broken on the east side of the building. There are no suspects at this time, and the investigation is continuing.
Then at 2:23 am, the church was spray painted by two youths. They were apprehended after fleeing the scene. According to the PKs they were released to their parents. No charges have been filed at this time. (Photo Courtesy: Melanie Konwenni Kirby)
