State of Emergency Set to be Extended

The current State of emergency is set to expire in 9 days. MCK Chief Frank McComber a liaison to the Covid-19 Task Force and Commissioner of Public Safety Lloyd Phillips joined us on the Morning D on K1037:
“Most likely we’ll probably be re-extending the State of Emergency on Monday.”
Phillips adding:
“I thought we had another week, but then because of the processes and needing to get anything in place, Frank reminded me that it was due and I worked with the legal services and we pulled together a renewal document that’s going to be proposed to council and we’ll take it from there, right.’
November 21st was the day when the current State of Emergency is set to expire.
