New School Buses On The Way

If you have school age kids you know. Now that students are back to in school learning there is a shortage of school buses.
As a result the community will be entering into an agreement with a school bus provider for four new school buses to address issues caused by the reduced capacity of the current school bus fleet due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The recommendations to lease four new vehicles and to hire four new drivers for a period of one year at a cost of 268,500 dollars was passed at last Monday’s council meeting. The vehicles will need to be prepared to meet current COVID-19 standards before delivery The community will be informed once the new buses are operational.
