A man from Kahnawake who was injured in a snowmobile accident early Sunday morning, has been upgraded to stable condition in hospital according to the Kahnawake Peacekeepers. The man and another man, both in their mid thirties, from the community were riding two snowmobiles along a trail near Zachary Road at around 2 am, when the first man noticed his companion was no longer behind him. The first rider circled back and saw the man laying in the snow and his vehicle was on its side. An ambulance whisked the injured man to the Montreal General Hospital.
