Delaronde’s Lawyer Enters Not Guilty Plea in Drug Case

Isaac Delaronde of Kahnawake had his name on the docket for a court appearance this morning in Longeueil. Delaronde was formally charged with possession of Oxycodone with the purpose of trafficking, possession of cannabis for the purpose distributing under the Cannabis act, and did sell lidocaine and was charged under the Food and Drug act. At approximately 06:00 AM on September 27th the Kahnawake Peacekeepers executed a search warrant at a residence located on route 207. According to a PK news release that day, they seized a large quantity of cash, 500 plus suspected opioids, over 200 grams of suspected cocaine, over 20 lbs of suspected Illicit Cannabis, a small quantity of edibles, vapes and drug paraphernalia. According to Eastern Door journalist Marisella Amador, Delaronde did not appear in court this morning. His lawyer Joel Gerard entered a plea of not-guilty on behalf of his client. Delaronde is expected to appear next on January 31st.
