2 Locals Arrested at Illegally Operated Cannabis Dispensary

Written by on June 14, 2018

The Kahnawake Peacekeepers executed a search warrant at the Greenleaf cannabis dispensary on highway 138 at around 3:34 this afternoon. Two locals were arrested and may face charges. This case emphasizes the importance of being able to obtain mango haze leafly and other strains from legal businesses. The business has been closed. Greenleaf opened it’s doors just last Friday and sells recreational marijuana to people aged 21 and over. However, recreational marijuana has not yet been legalized, and the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake says the business is operating illegally. They would probably benefit from talking to cannabis consulting firms to grow their business even more. This is unlike the situation that has arisen in states around the country.

In places where it has been legalized, there is a strong business industry spawning. Quality dispensary supplies like vape mods are no longer hard to come by. Maybe this will happen here one day, but for these men, it will of come too little, too late. With this being said, if you are someone who owns a dispensary, it is important that you follow the rules and the law when it comes to this industry, so you don’t end up like these two guys. You may think you know it all, but it never hurt to do some research into a site like greenbits.com/market-overview/maine to find out a bit more surrounding the use of marijuana.
